This is a project about Norwegian Composer Edvard Grieg’s music.
The program is included Piano sonata Op. 7 (1865), Violin sonata Op. 8 (1867), Cello sonata Op. 36 (1883) and Andante con moto for Piano trio (1877) by Edvard Grieg. The concert was planned to play on the piano from Grieg’s time, which is quite different from the modern piano. The idea of the concert is to explore the sound of Grieg’s music on the piano similar to the piano at the time, and present it through the solo piano music, duo chamber music, up to the trio.
This is a concert program we have been planed to perform but not happen yet because of COVID-19. We are looking forward to sharing this program with you. Stay in tune, the time and place will be announced soon!
